Pangourne- Re-live the same boat journey on the River Thames as Jerome K Jerome in his book '3 men In A Boat' and cruise to Pangbourne. Pangbourne is also the home of Kenneth Grahame, author of The Wind in the Willows. You will also pass Mapledurham House, dating from 1588 and thought to be the model for Toad Hall and was also used in the filming of 'Where eagles Dare'.
Henley on Thames- Experience the bustling market town of Henley & the Royal Regatta or how about the Henley 80s Rewind Festival? Henley is a great place to moor up for a couple of nights and provides a great base to explore the surrounding area from. The River Rowing Museum in Henley provides interest for all the family. You will see the boat yard in front. Drive into the yard and we will meet you and show you where to park. Ten minutes before you arrive, please phone or text us on 07780 88 71 72 and we will come straight away and meet you in the car park and take you to the boat.
