Pangourne- Re-live the same boat journey on the River Thames as Jerome K Jerome in his book '3 men In A Boat' and cruise to Pangbourne. Pangbourne is also the home of Kenneth Grahame, author of The Wind in the Willows. You will also pass Mapledurham House, dating from 1588 and thought to be the model for Toad Hall and was also used in the filming of 'Where eagles Dare'.
Henley on Thames- Experience the bustling market town of Henley & the Royal Regatta or how about the Henley 80s Rewind Festival? Henley is a great place to moor up for a couple of nights and provides a great base to explore the surrounding area from. The River Rowing Museum in Henley provides interest for all the family.
