Warwickshire Ring- manages to carve a surprisingly rural route through manicured fields and ancient meadows for much of its length despite the almost constant proximity of conurbation and industry. It includes The Hatton Flight, or ‘Stairway to Heaven’, a flight of twenty-one broad locks that elevate the canal an impressive 146 feet. You can visit Warwick Castle and Coventry Cathedral, and Gas Street Basin and Brindley Place the redeveloped Birmingham city centre canalside area.

Gas Street basin is in the heart of Birmingham's canal network, it has been has been redeveloped into a unique experience where traditional narrow boats moor up next to cosmopolitan cafes and bars. The surrounding area is a vibrant arts and entertainment area and there are many shopping options within a short walk. Amongst some of the attractions are the National Sea Life Centre and the Jewellery Quarter Discovery centre, also many fine Art galleries and over 500 restaurants offering every choice of food!
Tamworth's Snowdome- was the first real snow indoor skiing venue in the UK. All weather skiing and snowboarding centre with kit rental, an ice rink, swimming pool and gym. Just half a mile from the Glascote Basin, or 10 minutes walk. Drayton Manor is a theme park resort and zoo just 2.5 hours cruising from this marina . By Road : Glascote Basin B77 2AH is located about a mile off the A5, just 5 minutes from Junction 10 of the M42. Follow the signs for Glascote. Parking for up to two cars is included with your hire.
By Rail : Tamworth mainline train station is just 5 minutes by taxi. We can arrange collection of overseas guest from Birmingham Airport or Tamworth railway station.
By Air : There are two airports within a short distance from the boatyard; Birmingham and East Midlands airports are both approximately 30 minutes away by road. We can arrange collection of overseas guest from Birmingham Airport or Tamworth railway station.
