How far is from Middlesex
Packet Boats Marina is set among rolling hills and beautiful countryside on the outskirts of London

London offers a myriad of interesting things to do and see (and to eat at) see London Zoo, float through leafy Maida Vale, visit Portobello Road Market, Camden Lock is a very vibrant place with it's Market, see the totally regenerated Kings Cross, Granary Square, Coal Drops Yard shops and restaurants

The Grand Union Canal offers stunning scenery throughout Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire and yet is so close to London and the Regents Canal and River Lee and Stort beyond

See historic Limehouse and then head up the River Lee either towards the Olympic Park and the city or towards the countryside at Hertford and the River Stort.

The base at Cowley is an interesting starting location, offering boaters a rare mix of urban and rural scenery. Starting from Cowley offers the opportunity to cruise into central London, or alternatively, away from the Capital through the beautiful Chiltern Hills. Little Venice, Regent’s Park and London Zoo are all easily accessible from the canals. For a more rural escape, travel through the scenic countryside and visit the attractive villages and historic market towns such as King’s Langley and Berkhamsted.

The unique proximity of our Marina to London means that you can choose to head North into the beautiful countryside via an abundance of locks, or enjoy 23 miles of lock free boating and head South into the bright lights and hustle and bustle of London. The canals and rivers are your oyster. Pre-bookable day and overnight moorings are available in many locations including London.
