Information
Design : Georgia is a 70-foot long cruiser stern luxury 5-star narrowboat equipped to a high standard very spaciously laid out with 2 cabins, both ensuite and spacious saloon and galley. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls. Suitable as a luxury boat for 2 couples or family with plenty of space.
Features : There is full radiator central heating on the boat. A 200-gallon water tank supplies the hot and cold running water. There is carpeting in the saloon and bedrooms.
Saloon : Spacious rear Saloon with sofa and removable table, Radio/CD player; colour TV/DVD player. Sofa can be converted into a double bed in the evening if required. Also removable table.
Kitchen : The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven; refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces. Also supplied is a microwave.
Berths : The two cabins can be configured as 2 doubles or 2 twins , or one of each. In the saloon the sofa converts to a double at night to make 6 berths.
Bedding : Freshly laundered bedding is supplied for each crew member, as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request. Towels are also supplied - one medium sized towel per crew member, and one hand towel per bathroom. Additional bedding & throws are available for the chillier months.
Bathroom : There are two bathrooms, each with a wash hand basin, electrically operated flush toilet and shower and a 240v shaver socket.
Electric : 12v mobile phone charging point (please remember to bring your own car charging lead). The 2kw inverter supplies 240v electricity to certain appliances and to a socket on the boat. (Please note: if you decide to use any of your own electrical appliances, you do so at your own risk).
Welcome Pack : A welcome pack is provided, consisting of washing-up liquid (x1); dishcloth (x1); tea towel (x1); floor cloth (x1); toilet roll and bin liner.
Additional Information: Tuition, and buoyancy aids, are supplied free of charge, as are helmsman's waterproofs and an umbrella.
