Information
Design : The Bright Star is 55ft long, 8 berth Semi Traditional stern Narrowboat, ideal for 2 small families or 2 couples or a large family or a group of friends . Both cabins have en suite bathrooms. These semi-traditional style boats have a large secure rear deck area.
Features : Oil fired central heating, Pressurised Hot and Cold water to Galley, Showers, Basins & Toilets . Pet free Boat.
Saloon : 12V Colour television Radio /CD / DVD player (Television reception is poor on the rivers and canals, and whilst there is a TV on board we cannot guarantee reception)
Kitchen : A fully equipped kitchen with a four ring gas hob, oven, grill, fridge and sink / drainer, kettle.
Berths : The berth arrangement can provide a range of sleeping options with a fixed double at the stern and either a further double or 2 or 4 single berths (including 2 bunks) in the centre cabin with the dinette providing either a further 2 single berths or another double. The 2 cabins are separated by a partition door and each has their own bathroom. Berths are a comfortable 6 foot 2 inches long. Headroom is 6 foot 1 inch approx.
Bedding : Freshly laundered bedding are supplied for each crew member and duvets , as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request.
Bathroom : 2 Bathrooms with basin, shower and flush toilet. Pressurised Hot and Cold water to Galley, Showers, Basins & Toilets, electric pump out shower. 240V x 2 Pin shaver point (for shaver only). Electric macerator toilets.
Electric : 12v battery supplied electricity with socket. 240V x 2 Pin shaver point (for shaver only). Cigarette Lighter (To Charge mobile phones) 12V Electric Lighting throughout.
Welcome Pack : A welcome pack is provided, consisting of washing-up liquid (x1); dishcloth (x1); floor cloth (x1); toilet roll and bin liner, tea-towels, oven gloves, matches.
Additional Information: Tuition, and buoyancy aids, are supplied free of charge. 12V Hair dryer. Umbrella provided. Smoke and CO2 Detectors.
