Here is a brief overview of The Dawn Star canal boat operating out of Stourport on Severn

Design : The Dawn Star is 50ft long, 7 berth Cruiser stern Narrowboat, ideal for two couples or a small family. Water or air cooled Engines. Single lever direction and speed control.

Features : Oil fired central heating, Pressurised Hot and Cold water to Galley, Shower, Basin & Toilet.

Saloon : 12V Colour television Radio /CD / DVD player (Television reception is poor on the rivers and canals, and whilst there is a TV on board we cannot guarantee reception)

Kitchen : A fully equipped kitchen with a four ring gas hob, oven, grill, fridge and sink / drainer, kettle.

Berths : This boat can sleep two couples without having to convert the dinette in the saloon each evening. The rear cabin has a permanent double berth, with an interior sprung mattress. The centre cabin has bunk berths, the lower of which pulls out to make a double with a single above. Berths are a comfortable 6 foot 2 inches long. Headroom is 6 foot 1 inch approx.

Bedding : Freshly laundered bedding are supplied for each crew member and duvets , as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request.

Bathroom : Bathroom with basin, shower and flush toilet. Pressurised Hot and Cold water to Galley, Shower, Basin & Toilet, electric pump out shower. 240V x 2 Pin shaver point (for shaver only) .Electric macerator toilet.

Electric : 12v battery supplied electricity with socket. 240V x 2 Pin shaver point (for shaver only). Cigarette Lighter (To Charge mobile phones) 12V Electric Lighting throughout.

Welcome Pack : A welcome pack is provided, consisting of washing-up liquid (x1); dishcloth (x1); floor cloth (x1); toilet roll and bin liner, tea-towels, oven gloves, matches.

Additional Information: Tuition, and buoyancy aids, are supplied free of charge. 12V Hair dryer. Umbrella provided. Smoke and CO2 Detectors.
