Information
Design : The Weaver is a 47ft long, 4 berth semi-traditional stern narrowboat. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls.
Features : There is full radiator central heating on the boat. A 200 gallon water tank supplies the hot and cold running water. There is a double-filtered drinking water system. The flooring is easy clean vinyl.
Saloon : Radio/CD player; colour TV/DVD player.
Kitchen : The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven; refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. Also supplied are a microwave; toaster and Cafetiere. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces.
Berths : As this is a 4 berth boat, there is a choice of a double berth or two singles in the rear cabin, with interior sprung mattresses. An optional dinette/double is available in the saloon.
Bedding : Freshly laundered bedding is supplied for each crew member, as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request. Towels are also supplied - one medium sized towel per crew member, and one hand towel per
Bathroom : The bathroom comes complete with a wash hand basin, electronically operated flush toilet, and a hip bath/shower. A 240v shaver socket is also available.
Electric : 12v mobile phone charging point (please remember to bring your own car charging lead). The 2kw inverter supplies 240v electricity to certain appliances and to a socket on the boat. (Please note: if you decide to use any of your own electrical appliances, you do so at your own risk).
Welcome Pack : A welcome pack is provided, consisting of washing-up liquid (x1); dishcloth (x1); tea towel (x1); floor cloth (x1); toilet roll and bin liner.
Additional Information: Tuition, and buoyancy aids, are supplied free of charge. A safe is supplied on the boat (except on boats based at Gailey), as are helmsman's waterproofs and an umbrella.
